Bich (Beth) Minh Nguyen is the author of three books, Stealing Buddha's Dinner, a memoir, and two novels, Short Girls and Pioneer Girl. Her work has received numerous awards including the PEN/Jerard Award and was aChicago Tribune Best Book of the Year. Nguyen's work has also appeared in publications includingThe New York Times and the FOUND Magazine anthology. Nguyen received an MFA from the University of Michigan. She currently directs and teaches in the MFA in Writing Program at the University of San Francisco. She and her family live in the Bay Area.
The theme of this year’s Roundtable is “Reconstructing Home” and Nguyen will explore the idea of home through art (narrative/memory).
